This Master of European Legal Studies, offered by the European Centre for Judges and Lawyers in partnership with the University of Nancy 2, is among the first of its kind designed specifically to meet the needs of professionals (national civil servants, EU officials, judges and lawyers) and graduates with an interest in EU law, as well as the academic requirements of the Bologna process.

The programme provides an insight into the key issues of the European integration process and a progressive specialisation in the vast field of European law
The course spans two years and is based on a combination of web-based learning with faculty support and face-to-face tutorials using interactive education methods such as group work, case studies, simulation exercises and problem-solving learning.

Dit onderzoeksinstituut streeft ernaar om de kennis van ambtenaren die zich met de EU bezighouden te vergroten door het ontwikkelen en aanbieden van uiteenlopende hoogwaardige diensten zoals lespakketten. Het instituut wil wetenschappelijke kennis en praktische 'know-how' met elkaar verbinden. Het European Institute for Public Administration (EIPA) bestaat al meer dan 25 jaar.
Het EIPA doet onderzoek en organiseert seminars, cursussen en Master opleidingen. In 2007 namen 11.770 nationale en Europese ambtenaren deel aan door het EIPA georganiseerde seminars. Bovendien voeren medewerkers van het instituut consultancy opdrachten uit. Het instituut is georganiseerd in drie units: Europese Besluitvorming, Openbaar Management en Vergelijkende Bestuurskunde en Europees Beleid. Bij het EIPA werken ruim 150 hoogopgeleide medewerkers.
